About Our Company

At Action Fishing Trips, we’re more than just a fishing guide service – we’re a family-owned business with a passion for the outdoors, the water, and the joy that comes from a great day of fishing.

Based on the beautiful Lake Greeson – about 45 miles southwest of Hot Springs, Arkansas, between Murfreesboro and Glenwood – we’ve spent years perfecting our system for locating and catching fish year-round. While we’ll fish for anything that’s biting, our specialty is crappie fishing, and we know how to find them no matter the season. We’re proud to call Swaha Lodge & Marina our home base, but we’re happy to meet you at any marina on the lake for your trip.

Crappie, white perch, specks, sacalait, calico bass, papermouths – whatever you call them – we love catching them and eating them! But what we love even more is taking people out on the water to relax, unwind, and create unforgettable memories with family and friends while reeling in a good “mess” of crappie.

On our trips, crappie may be the main target, but it’s common to hook into black bass, white bass, bluegill, catfish, the occasional striper or walleye, and other species along the way.

You’ll be fishing from our safe, stable, and comfortable 22′ Blue Wave Center Console Bay Boat, powered by a 200-horsepower four-stroke motor and equipped with top-quality BnM jig poles and crappie rods. Whether you’re an experienced angler or it’s your very first fishing trip, we’ll make sure you have the tools, knowledge, and fun you need for a successful day on the lake.
